Remedy Entertainment PLC and Tencent have announce they will no longer do work on the multiplayer Kestrel labor . therapeutic stated they need to focus on other biz development projection in their portfolio . What ’s not so fun is that this was supposed to be different than what we ’ve already seen from the studio apartment . primitively unveil in November 2023 , Kestrel was a fresh start for a former undertaking known as Vanguard .
Both undertaking were funded in collaboration with Tencent for joint publication . The decision to delete Kestrel means that Remedy can reassign skilled developers previously dedicated to this project to other games . This also mean less hiring overall and a diminution in plan investments ab initio set aside for this multiplayer task .

Virtala expressed gratitude to the Kestrel development team and commended the insights make from the task . He also thanked Tencent for their partnership and professionalism . It seems like a collective announcement through and through . Unfortunately , we wo n’t see Remedy do something young , but we can understand if the company wants to keep ferment on its well - have it away stuff .
